IF YOU ARE OFFERED A POSITION AT SEATTLE CENTER Successful job candidates are subject to and must pass a background check through Washington State Patrol or a comparable agency in another state(s) if living in Washington for fewer than three years. Some positions, primarily those in the field, require passing a pre-employment physical. Many positions also require a valid driver’s license at time of application. In this case, if an out-of-state candidate is a successful applicant in a hiring process, s/he will be required to obtain a Washington State driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
