Employment Opportunities
WE APPRECIATE AND ENCOURAGE YOUR INTEREST IN JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITH SEATTLE CENTER AND THE CITY OF SEATTLE

APPLYING FOR POSITIONS WITH SEATTLE CENTER
In November 2004, the City of Seattle implemented a new Citywide Job Application System. The link below will take you to the City of Seattle employment web page at http://www.seattle.gov/jobs, where you will be encouraged to establish an account and apply online for available positions. You may also pick up an application in the HR office at Seattle Center (see below).

IF YOU ARE OFFERED A POSITION AT SEATTLE CENTER
Successful job candidates are subject to and must pass a background check through Washington State Patrol or a comparable agency in another state(s) if living in Washington for fewer than three years. Some positions, primarily those in the field, require passing a pre-employment physical. Many positions also require a valid driver’s license at time of application. In this case, if an out-of-state candidate is a successful applicant in a hiring process, s/he will be required to obtain a Washington State driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

HOW TO CONTACT US
The Seattle Center Human Resources office is located in Room 104, Center House. Our mailing address is 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109. Inquiries about current or future hiring processes may be directed to our Front Desk at 206.684.7221.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR POSITIONS WITH OTHER CITY DEPARTMENTS
Individuals interested in applying for positions with the City of Seattle should visit the City’s website for current job listings at http://www.seattle.gov/jobs. The City of Seattle Talent Bank, which formerly held resumes for referral to open positions for up to 12 months, is no longer in operation. In order to apply for City jobs, you will need to establish an account and apply online for every City position for which you wish to be considered. This requires only that you have an active email address. You may also download a copy of the City Employment Application online or pick one up from Seattle Center HR office or the City of Seattle Personnel Department, Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 - 5th Avenue, Suite 5500, Seattle, WA, 98124.

Individuals requesting an accommodation for work tests or interviews must do so in advance. Please call 206.684.7221.
