OUTDOOR CIRCUIT TRAINING WITH NOVEMBER PROJECT

Seattle Center Grounds - Participants will meet at 6:15am at the Artists at Play Plaza
Whether you're a professional athlete, marathoner, triathlete, runner, walker, or fitness rookie, come see what it's all about. #JustShowUp to get sweaty with strangers, become best friends with burpees, and watch the sun rise over gorgeous Seattle. Workouts are a mix of running and bodyweight exercises, done at your own pace and adjustable to any fitness or experience level.
Bring plenty of water and come and join the fun!
Temporary site-specific works installed on campus by artists whose work reflects their surroundings and enlivens the campus with color, whimsy, and surprise. This year's works center on the theme Metamorphosis, and will be installed August through December.
ANGIE HINOJOS YUSUF & CARLOS JIMENEZ, LXCHEL
Location: Fisher Pavilion Overhang, corner of Second Ave and Thomas Street
Ixchel was the Meshica god of the moon; as the moon waxed and waned, she transformed through all the stages of life. Dragonflies are also a symbol of metamorphosis—when Ixchel died, dragonflies sang over her for 183 days.
HENRY JACKSON-SPIEKER, BURL
Location: Founders Court, Fountain side
Burl is a Juxtaposition between Seattle's natural and metropolitan environment. Creating a natural forms directly onto the concrete structures invites the viewer to hold and weigh these contrasting and continually encroaching worlds.
KATIE MILLER, CONSTRUCT
Location: Monorail Station Overpass, leading from Armory East exit
Construct explores Seattle's rapidly changing urban landscape and how our perception of place is informed by our surroundings. Utilizing forced-perspective, shifts in scale, and varied linear repetition, Construct references the lines, angles, and forms revealed through the building process.
CAROLINA SILVA, THE WIND TRAP
Location: Founders Court, Mercer Street side
A vertical space covered by mylar streamers, overhanging and interacting with light and wind, capturing unpredictable reflections, movement and sounds. The Wind Trap is about that which is unseen, appearing in a festive, transformative mode.

Gentle Yoga is a class for everyone, no matter what age or fitness level. Gently stretch your body, and breathe your stress away while having fun. This class will focus on fluid movements to increase range of motion and increase joint and muscle flexibility. The practice of yoga has been around for thousands of years, and was originally developed to keep the body strong and healthy and to allow practitioners to sit for long periods of time.
Please bring your own yoga mat.

Ditch the workout and join the party! Zumba is all about the energy, the music, and having fun while doing something good for your body. Come join us for an adventurous journey around the world through exhilarating Latin music, World Rhythms, West African, belly dance, dancehall, pop, classic rock, you name it. The result – a workout full of high energy, easy to follow choreography, and FUN It will get your heart pumping, get you sweaty, and put a big smile on your face.
Everyone is welcome. No dance experience is required. Please bring plenty of water and wear comfortable sneakers.
