Participate in the Hmong Lunar New Year through storytelling, dance, embroidery, flower clothe demonstrations, music and the customary courtship ritual of ball tossing. The celebration provides a time for the Hmong people to reflect on the past year and look ahead to new beginnings. A celebrated singer in the Hmong culture, Mai Xiong, will travel from Minnesota to perform at for the New Year, along with artists in the Seattle Hmong community. With generous support from Safeco Insurance and Wells Fargo.
