Presented by Brazil Center, Show Brazil Productions and the Ethnic Heritage Council.
COLORS OF THE BRAZILIAN CULTURE: Green, yellow, blue and white, the colors of the Brazilian flag. MOST POPULAR FOODS: Feijoada, a typically Portuguese bean stew with beef and pork, is considered the national dish of Brazil, along with Moqueca de Peixe, a traditional seafood stew that Brazilians have been making for 300 years, made of fish, onions, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro and chili peppers. GREATEST SOURCE OF CULTURAL PRIDE: Soccer and music. LIVELIHOOD: Brazil boasts well developed agricultural, manufacturing and service sectors – and is currently expanding its presence in world markets.
