THE SLEEPING BEAUTY
Through Feb. 9 Marion Oliver McCaw Hall at Seattle Center
The Sleeping Beauty
"In the fairytale court of King Florestan XIV, a gathering has assembled to celebrate the birth of the royal Princess Aurora…" From its timeless introduction to evil Carabosse’s curse, from fairies that really fly to the Prince’s wakening kiss and an imperial wedding celebration, each moment of The Sleeping Beauty faithfully portrays the beloved fairy tale with grand classical ballet, Tchaikovsky’s treasured music, magnificent sets, and exquisite costumes. Delivering February’s most perfect Valentine, Beauty promises a complete happily-ever-after experience for all ages.
