Earth to Kenzie is a one act opera written for youth audiences that tells the story of an imaginative 5th grader named Kenzie who finds comfort in the world of her video game when she and her mom find themselves living in a family shelter. This one-act opera explores themes of empathy and finding strength and belonging despite diversity. Featuring a cast of professional singers, sets and costumes, this is a perfect introduction to opera for the whole family.
