Initial community outreach for the Memorial Stadium project led by the Seattle Center Foundation began in 2021 including engagement with student and cultural groups, Seattle Center staff and resident organizations, and dozens of community-based organizations generating widespread interest.

Community dialogue expanded in spring 2024 with students, tribal representatives, and veterans - as well as open house events for the public to learn and ask questions about the vision, design progress, planning, and timeline for this transformational project in the heart of Seattle.

Join us for our final Memorial Stadium Community Open House event from 3 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 26th inside Memorial Stadium. See event details and share your favorite Memorial Stadium story!

This thoughtful, inclusive process will continue with the design review, aligning the City’s One Seattle focus – to make the city more equitable, livable, sustainable, and resilient for today’s communities and future residents – and with SPS’s policy for educational and racial equity.
