The stately Seattle Center Armory continues to serve generations of visitors. The “Center of the Center” features fresh, local foods and beverages. Taste the new savory and sweet offerings, stay for the many cultural celebrations and take in the sights and sounds of Seattle Center on the new 60-foot outdoor deck. The Armory is also home to customer service and Seattle Center administrative offices.

The Space Needle is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world and is a treasured Seattle icon. Built for the 1962 World’s Fair, the Space Needle recently completed the most extensive renovation in its history. With two observation decks, the world’s only revolving glass floor and open-air glass benches, the landmark continues to symbolize the innovative and forward-thinking spirit of Seattle.

The International Fountain is a mainstay from the World’s Fair. As the centerpiece of the broad open space and lawn, it has been transformed from its early days into a modern wonder. By day the fountain is a favorite lounging area and delight for young and old.

Redevelopment of Climate Pledge Arena at Seattle Center transformed a facility built originally for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair into a world class, state-of-the art city jewel and destination. Located in the heart of Seattle’s Uptown neighborhood at Seattle Center, the new venue offers a truly unique and intimate experience for NHL and NBA, the WNBA’s Seattle Storm, concerts and other entertainment events, while preserving the historic nature of Seattle Center and its surroundings.

Our brand new public skate plaza opened in 2021 in a vacated section of Broad Street across 5th Avenue from campus. The new Seattle Center Skate Plaza is designed for street-style skateboarding, with a focus on providing flexible space for beginner-level skateboarders to learn and practice skills. Dotted throughout the space are artworks with a skating theme. All are welcome to use the space.
