In 2025, Seattle Center welcomed 11.34 million visitors, reaffirming its role as one of the West Coast’s most vibrant and inclusive civic spaces. From major festivals and free public programs to daily neighborhood activity and global tourism, Seattle Center continues to bring people together to learn, celebrate, and connect.

Together with Waterfront Park, Seattle Center contributed to more than 20 million combined civic visits, expanding its impact across Seattle’s public realm.

Seattle Center continues to balance strong visitation with evolving visitor behaviors, including increased transit use and shifts in per-capita spending, while maintaining attendance well above pre-pandemic levels.

    Seattle Center Community Impact 2025 Report

    Seattle Center continues to lead operations, maintenance, and public safety for Waterfront Park in partnership with Friends of Waterfront Park, who lead programming and activation.

    In 2025, Waterfront Park welcomed 9 million visitors, marking a landmark year that included major openings, expanded public space, and a full park grand opening celebration attended by more than 41,000 people.

    The park hosted signature events like the Seafair Torchlight Parade and delivered 80 free programs for nearly 95,000 attendees, reinforcing its role as a vibrant and inclusive destination for residents and visitors alike.

    Since opening in June 2003, McCaw Hall has welcomed more than 7.6 million guests across 8,800+ events.
