1) Eligibility: The Seattle Center Winterfest Winter Train & Village Scavenger Hunt, sponsored by Symetra, is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia. Employees, directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same household) of Seattle Center are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law. The Scavenger Hunt contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2) How to Enter: Throughout the period of Winterfest (November 24 – December 31, 2023) visit the Winter Train & Village, located in the Armory Food & Event Hall, and pick up a Scavenger Hunt form found at King Street Station and at designated spots around the perimeter of the train set. Look for answers to the questions on the form throughout the display, and write them down on your form. Submit completed forms to either the Yard Boss working at the Train, or to Seattle Center Customer Service, located in the Food & Event Hall. Each Monday throughout Winterfest, we will draw a submission at random from the previous week’s entries. Drawn submissions with correct answers will then receive a weekly prize of a family pack of tickets for an evet at Climate Pledge Arena. On January 2nd, 2024, we'll pick a grand prize winner from all submissions to receive a special gift package from our sponsor Symetra.

3) Participants who submit inaccurate or incomplete entry may be excluded from participation in the prize drawing. All entries become the property of Seattle Center, a Department of the City of Seattle. Entries will not be used by the Seattle Center for commercial purposes but are subject to disclosure under the Washington Public Records Act. Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and consent to use of their names in any and all media without further consideration.

4) Prize Drawing: On Monday of each week during Winterfest (Nov 27, Dec. 4, 11, 18, and 26) a random drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries submitted to Customer Service or the Yard Boss in the previous week. Each individual person may only submit one (1) entry per week. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen from all entries submitted throughout the contest period (Nov 24 – Dec 31, 2023). The drawing will be conducted by the Seattle Center Social Media Team or designee. Winner must have answers to all questions correct in order to win. Potential winners are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these official rules. Seattle Center will notify the potential winners by email or phone within three (3) days of the prize drawing. Potential winners will be required to authorize an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability within seven (7) days of issuance of notification. Failure to complete and return/transmit the authorization in the time noted, or if prize notification is undeliverable, will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected and notified. Odds of winning prize are subject to the total number of eligible entries received.

5) Prize Packages: Events at Climate pledge Arena including tickets to Cirque du Soliel and Harlem Globetrotters, plus a Grand Prize containing tickets to a Seattle Kraken game and Symetra swag.
