Consisting of an Upper and Lower plaza, the Northwest Courtyard features open plaza areas, a built-in stage, seating locations, and houses the Dupen Fountain splash park. Nestled between Climate Pledge Arena, SIFF, The Vera Project and KEXP, the Northwest Courtyard is both sheltered from other campus activity and well-connected to the Uptown neighborhood, with ample transportation options (including curb use, garages, rideshare and major bus lines). This location is perfect for small performances, small neighborhood vendor markets, summertime brand activations and community gatherings.
The Upper Courtyard boasts a permanent stage, an ideal setting for live music and engaging performances, plentiful shade trees throughout the roughly 15,000 sq. ft. plaza, and easy direct pedestrian access from the Uptown neighborhood.
The Lower Courtyard promises family-friendly fun with the Dupen Fountain splash pad, more than 8,000 square feet of open space, greater connectivity to the main portion of campus, and easy access to public amenities. Additional square footage is available in this area, subject to approval by Climate Pledge Arena.
