Turn Up the Heat at Seattle Center’s “Summer at the Center”

A Season of Free, Festive Fun for Everyone

SEATTLE WA - Summer is back, and so is the sunshine-fueled excitement of Summer at the Center, sponsored by Muckleshoot Casino Resort and Modelo. All season long, Seattle Center comes alive with free, fun-filled experiences for all ages—from vibrant cultural festivals and high-energy concerts to open-air movies, fitness classes, and more.
Explore the grounds and discover something new each time you visit. Stroll through blooming gardens, marvel at outdoor art installations, or dance in the splash of the International and DuPen Fountains. Kids can climb, swing, and slide at the imaginative Artists at Play playground, while teens and adults can enjoy creative workshops or cool down with delicious flavors at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall.
From major concerts to community celebrations, every day at Seattle Center offers something special. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up:

Northwest Folklife Festival – May 23 – 26
The Northwest Folklife Festival is a free, community-powered celebration of the diverse cultures and traditions of the Pacific Northwest, held annually over Memorial Day Weekend at Seattle Center. Featuring over 4,000 performers across 20+ stages, the festival showcases music, dance, storytelling, and crafts from more than 150 cultural communities, making it one of the largest access-for-all festivals in the United States.

Panda Fest – June 6 – 8
One of the biggest outdoor Asian food festivals in the US comes to Seattle Center for its 1st year. With experiential activities, tastings, and market fairs that showcase the vibrant food, art, and cultural traditions from Asia, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Workout Wednesdays presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health
Get moving on Workout Wednesdays, June 18 – August 20:
• 5:30 PM – Gentle Yoga
• 6:30 PM – Zumba® class
• 6:45 PM – Pilates mat class
All classes are free, taught by certified instructors, and held outdoors.

Washington Brewer’s Festival – June 20 – 21
Beers, Wrestlers, KEXP DJs and more surprises! Washington Brewers Fest is coming back to Seattle Center, promising an unforgettable summer day filled with innovative craft beverages and a whirlwind of fun that will captivate all who attend.

PrideFest – June 29, 12-8 pm
Celebrate love and equality at the nation’s largest free Pride festival, immediately following the downtown Pride Parade. With three stages, three beverage gardens, 100+ artists, and 100+ exhibitors, it’s a celebration like no other.

Naturalization Ceremony – July 4, 12 – 1pm
Seattle Center hosts the 40th Annual Naturalization Ceremony at the Fisher Pavilion and invites the public to observe as The Honorable David G. Estudillo, Chief United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington, swears in over 400 candidates as new citizens of the United States of America.

BLASTFEST – July 19
Seattle’s premier Afrobeats festival returns for its third year at Fisher Pavilion, featuring global stars Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Odumodublvck, Wande Coal, Daliwonga, Moliy, BLAST, and more!

Bite of Seattle – July 25 – 27
The iconic food and beverage festival returns with over 300+ local vendors, 65+ live music performances, and plenty of beer and wine gardens to explore.

Movies at the Mural presented by Prime Video
Catch your favorite films under the stars on a 40-foot screen with the Space Needle overhead. Bring a blanket and enjoy:

Seattle Tattoo Expo – August 15 – 17
A premier annual event celebrating tattoo culture, featuring over 250 tattoo artists from around the world, live music, burlesque performances, and a vibrant vendor village. Held at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, the 2025 expo will offer enthusiasts a unique opportunity to experience top-tier artistry and entertainment in one location.

Bumbershoot – August 30 – 31
One of the nation’s longest-running arts and music festivals celebrates its 52nd year with a dynamic lineup across music, visual arts, comedy, and more.

Seattle Center Art Tour presented by Alaska Airlines
Take a self-guided stroll through Seattle Center’s impressive public art collection and discover hidden gems around every corner.

Artists at the Center
Celebrate local talent all year long with free live performances by emerging and established artists, set against the newly revitalized Seattle Center campus.

Seattle Center Festál
Experience the heartbeat of the Pacific Northwest’s diverse communities through 25 free cultural festivals from January through November. Summer highlights include:
Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival (May 31-June 1), Indigenous People Festival (June 7), Seattle Iranian Festival (June 28), Polish Festival Seattle (July 12), Seattle Arab Festival (July 19-20), A Day in Punjab (August 2), Tibet Fest (August 9-10), BrasilFest (August 17), Festival Sundiata presents Black Arts Fest (August 23-24), Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival (September 7), and Sea Mar Fiestas Patrias (September 13-14).
