Creative professionals from across the country are gathering in Seattle this spring for Creative Works WEST, a three-day summit focused on craft, honest conversation, and sustainable creative careers.
Presented by the Creative Workers Union, the event brings together designers, illustrators, commercial artists, and creative leaders for candid talks, live demos, and hands-on workshops that explore how meaningful creative work actually gets made.
This year’s theme, Soul Over Scale, challenges the industry’s obsession with speed, metrics, and algorithms. Instead, the summit focuses on depth, craft, and the real people behind the work.

Attendees can expect:
• Candid presentations from working creatives
• Hands-on workshops focused on real skills
• Insightful demos and workflows
• A curated pop-up market featuring independent artists
• Shared meals and nightly hangs designed for real connection
