The Italian Festival is September 26: 10am-7pm & September 27: 10am-6pm, 2026 in the Armory Food & Event Hall and Fisher Pavilion. The festival is part of the Seattle Center Festál series. It is free and open to the public.

Seattle Center Festál is a year-round series of 25 free cultural festivals, produced in partnership with community organizations. ALL-WEEKEND

ARMORY STAGE – TUTTA BELLA PIZZA TOSS

  • A family favorite, the Tutta Bella Pizza Toss is back and happens three times a day in the Armory throughout Festa Weekend.
    • 12:00pm-12:30pm
    • 2:00pm-2:30pm
    • 4:00pm-4:30pm

ARMORY MAIN FLOOR

  • Isernio’s Bocce Tournament (9am-7pm)
    • Registered teams competing in Recreational Division (Saturday) & Masters Division (Sunday)
    • Registration will be closed as of 5PM Thursday, September 24, 2026, so please get your teams registered early to ensure your place in the competition. Registrations received after that date may not be accepted.
  • Historic Photographs (ALL-DAY)
    • Presented by Isernio’s, this photographic exhibition of over 1,000 images will be available on display
  • Face Painting (starting at 11am)
    • Offered for a charge

ARMORY BALCONY – FESTA ITALIANA ART SHOW (ALL-DAY)

ARMORY LOFT 2 – VENETIAN MASK PAINTING (10:00AM-3:00PM)

  • This year’s HANDS-ON ART ACTIVITIES for kids will include painting Venetian masks that they can take home.

FISHER ROOFTOP – TUTTA BELLA GRAPE STOMP (11:40AM-4:00PM)

  • Grape Stomp heats take place on the roof of the Fisher Pavilion, on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 11:40 AM. The last heat takes place at approximately 3:40 PM. The MC will again be “that famous dude from Ballard,” Doc Bailey.
  • Each team competes against their rivals to create and collect as much grape juice as possible in a messy and frenetic 3-minute stomp!
  • All stompers will receive a Tutta Bella Grape Stomp T-shirt, a coupon for a free pizza at Tutta Bella, and the stompers on the winning team will each win a bottle of Italian Wine!

·         Popular solo artist playing many venues in and around Seattle. This is his first Festa appearance.

La Mezzanotte Trio

·         Consisting of Bonnie Birch, Nick Heiting and Paul Ostler, they’ll appear in the Wine Garden, on the Peroni Main stage and also accompany Fortissimo! Hear musical samples and learn all about them at their website.

4:00pm-6:00pm

The RigaTones

FISHER ROOFTOP – LA CUCINA GALBANI® COOKING STAGE

  • Every hour throughout the weekend, between 12 noon and 3:30 pm, a different chef is featured “live” on our La Cucina Galbani®Cooking Stage, located on the Fisher Terrace — the rooftop of the Fisher Pavilion. Every year we line up some great chefs and (post-pandemic) they usually hand out samples of their wonderful dishes. Come for the food, stay for the fun!
  • Sponsored by Galbani Cheeseand presented by Isernio’s Sausage and Merlino Foods. Additional tour support provided by the Mediterranean Inn. Our MC will be Martin Nigrelle.

·         Seattle’s “Sicilian Diva” entertains audiences worldwide. When in Seattle, she’s usually at Vito’s or similar intimate cabarets. At Festa, Julie loves to play to her Italian side, performing songs from her childhood.

Seattle Mandolin Orchestra

·         Returning to Festa year after year, this large and unique ensemble plays beautiful Italian music on mandolins of myriad sizes.

Ballard Sedentary Sousa Band

·         Sunday afternoon on the Peroni Main stage, The Ballard Sedentary Sousa Band presented classic Italian marches including the “March of the Bersaglieri” and “A Frangesa,” as well as excerpts from “Aida” and “il Trovatore.” Guaranteed to wake you up!

The Rob Porcaro Band

·         Now a regular on the Peroni Main stage, Rob Porcaro hails from Toronto, Canada and has been singing since he was 9 years old. In the late 60’s, he fronted the legendary “Thin Red Line” and immigrated with them to Seattle where he now sings at festivals like the Bite of Seattle the Taste of Tacoma and the San Gennaro Festival.

The Anthony “Nino” Lane Band

·         A rockin’ 6-piece from Salinas, CA called the Anthony “Nino” Lane Band, covering all your Italian favorites through the decades with an emphasis on danceability!

Mary Marchese

·         Mary has been performing around the US and the world since the 80’s. Including performing for our troops in Korea, Guam, Okinawa, The Philippines, Diego Garcia, Hawaii, Turkey, Greece, Spain and ITALY! Come dance to some fun Italian-American and traditional Italian tunes!

Fortissimo! with La Mezzanotte Trio

·         Known for many years as “Seattle’s Three Tenors,” these singers have been show-stoppers at Festa for over 20 years. Gino Lucchetti, Stephen Wall, Chai Ahrenius, brilliant operatic talents are awesome together! Always a standing ovation.
